This summer has been unusual with another bout of covid for my wife and myself. It was not as bad as the first time in December of 2020. This has affected my energy and desire to paint. But I am inspired to paint now.
I am posting new work, some of which was completed last month. The ocean scene is from last year. I really enjoy painting the action of the ocean. Water is one of my favorite subjects and you can observe that in my posted paintings.
When I start a painting the colors are mixed on my palette with a knife to
establishing the basic colors for each area and then I work from dark to light.
