This past October I was in the mountains north of Boise and was inspired and thrilled with the display of warm colors displayed in the brush and aspen trees on this hillside.
This is one of my favorite subjects to paint. The fall time is the season of color and special light.
My wife and I leave for Hawaii with our daughter and her husband and there will be much to enjoy with warmer temperatures and visually inspiring subjects for future paintings.
