One of my favorite drives is along the North Fork of the Payette River.
Often when coming down after a day in the mountains, the sun is low in
the sky and flooding the canyon walls with wonderful warm light. This
is the time for a painting capturing the wonderful mood of a summer
evening in the mountains.
