The past three weeks I've painted a few head studies of people and
thoroughly enjoyed getting back to this subject matter. Requests from
people to show them how to paint in oils with a knife has resulted in
doing a workshop to teach them this skill. I completed a 30x40 oil of a
river flowing through a very rocky canyon and loved using the knife to
create the colors and textures of the large rock formations. The next
thing is do paint some still lifes in ths studio. It has been too long
since I've done one of these. I have several different subjects for
this.
